Welcome Cookie. She is a female stray who was taken in by animal control and never claimed. She appears to have experienced mistreatment, as she is very skittish, cowers easily, and may nip when she feels threatened or afraid.
When she feels safe, a different side of Cookie begins to show. She curls up in your lap and asks for belly rubs. She will need time, patience, and understanding, and we are grateful to have a foster willing to help her decompress and learn to trust again. We are wishing Cookie and her foster family the very best as she begins this next chapter.
