Meet Clementine
Clementine's Resilient Journey
She was found abandoned, extremely emaciated, and near death in freezing conditions. February 10th, Clementine was rushed to ICU fighting minute by minute for her life.
After over a week of ups and downs in ICU, she displayed such an incredible will to live. Every small improvement such as holding her temperature, stabilizing her glucose, or maintaining potassium is a victory. She is beginning light physical therapy and range-of-motion work, and will require months of rehabilitation as she slowly rebuilds strength.
Clementine is more than just a dog. She represents the harsh reality of neglect and suffering, but she also represents resilience, trust, and the incredible capacity to live and love. Despite everything she has endured, Clementine continues to show sweetness, trust, and a gentle spirit that has inspired people around the globe.
